I would like to put on a fun tennis meetup every month for beginners and advanced players to meet and play against one another.  I know it's hard to find courts in the city so hopefully with my resources I can find a few and we can have a bunch of tennis socials before the fall comes!

Metropolitan Tennis Group (MTG) is a not-for-profit Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender (LGBT) organization formed to provide its membership with expanded opportunities to play recreational and competitive tennis. Through our themed social events, league play and competition and annual tournaments, MTG offers New York's tennis enthusiasts a forum to play both competitively and recreationally, and an opportunity to make lasting friendships.

This group is designated for tennis enthusiasts looking to meet and play with other individuals who share the same interest and passion for the sport throughout Westchester, NY. It doesn't matter if you are at the level of a beginner or an expert, if you are young or old, if you come from other areas within the Tri-State Area, etc. All tennis players are welcome!

We're looking to gather tennis players seeking to improve both their physical and mental skills to take the game to the next level. First meeting is Sunday, April 22 from 9:30am -11:30am. We organize parties where you can sharpen your game, network and get exercise. Players of all levels encouraged to join. We have pros who can watch and offer strategies.

We meet at various sports pubs in Forest Hills and surrounding neighborhoods. Tennis and Baseball are the games we view the most. We will select a different restaurant that has large screen TVs for each meeting. Most of the time we will arrange for separate checks and a table that will seat the entire group.

This group has been created for all who would like to play table tennis, a.k.a. ping pong, in the lower Fairfield and Westchester area. Our primary location will be Greenwich, CT, but there may be some chance to move around. For now, let's just see what the interest level is.
